Characters
It has been suggested that this section be split into a new article titled List of Kamen Rider Kuuga characters. (Discuss)

* Yuusuke Godai/Kamen Rider Kuuga (五代 雄介/仮面ライダークウガ, Godai Yūsuke/Kamen Raidā Kūga?): A young, multi-talented man who dons the Arcle belt, which turns him into Kuuga. He is a happy-go-lucky and honest person that fights to "protect everyone's smiles". Yuusuke works at the Pore-Pore Tea Cafe, and continously attempts to master 2000 different skills and talents which he uses to help others. He and his sister, Minori, lost their mother while they were both young and their father when they were older. He was born in Hokkaidō Prefecture on March 18, 1975. His blood type is O.
* Kaoru Ichijo (一条 薫, Ichijō Kaoru?): The police inspector who is leading operative of the Science Police force formed for fighting the Grongi. Like his father, who died on his tenth birthday, Ichijo is a model policeman who firmly believes in doing the right thing. Though he is very strict with himself, he will do everything he can, even bend police rules, to help Yuusuke fight the Grongi. He was born in Nagoya City in Aichi Prefecture on April 18, 1974. His blood type is AB. After the Grongi were defeated, Ichijo returns to Nagano.
* Sakurako Sawatari (沢渡 桜子, Sawatari Sakurako?): A friend of Godai who translates the ancient "Lintonese" transcripts that tell of Kuuga and the Grongi. At first she was against helping because she was worried about Yuusuke, but now she believes in him fully and works hard to help Yuusuke understand his powers by deciphering the writings. She was born in Gunma Prefecture on October 30, 1976. Her blood type is B.
* Minori Godai (五代 みのり, Godai Minori?): Yuusuke's younger sister who works a teacher at a local daycare. Yuusuke will occasionally visit her there to entertain the kids. Like Sakurako, she was at first apprehensive about her brother transforming into Kuuga, but she believes in Yuusuke and helps out however she can. She was born in Hokkaidō Prefecture on September 4, 1977. Her blood type is O.
* Shuichi Tsubaki (椿 秀一, Tsubaki Shūichi?): A trusted friend of Ichijo, he is the doctor that looks after Yuusuke and treats him when he becomes injured, while also researching the effects of Yuusuke's fusion with the Arcle. Though he's a light-hearted person, he was very serious and worried when talking about Yuusuke's future transformations because of the constant dangers that surrounded the Kuuga legend. He also performs the autopsies of the Grongi victims in order to determine causes of death.
* Hikari Enokida (榎田 ひかり, Enokida Hikari?): Another old friend of Ichijo, she is in charge of the Science Division of the Police Department. She studies the biology of the Grongi in order to develop effective weapons against them. She also assists in the study of Kuuga and the Gouram. Because of the massive amount of work required of her to fight the Grongi, she was away from home quite often and her child felt alone and neglected.
* Tamasaburo Kazari (飾 玉三郎, Kazari Tamasaburō?):He was friends with the father of Yuusuke and Minori, who affectionately refer to him as Oyassan (おやっさん?) like everyone else. He owns and runs the Pore-Pore Tea Cafe. He is a goofy, light-hearted character that keeps a scrap book of all of Kuuga's exploits from the newspaper, though unaware of Yuusuke being "Number 4" and thinks that the name "Kuuga" is some nonsensical word made up by Yuusuke. After learning the truth, however, he dons the Kuuga mark on his apron in the series epilogue. He was born on June 9, 1955. His blood type is A.
* Nana Asahina (朝比奈 奈々, Asahina Nana?, 11-49): Tamasaburo's niece, who helps out at the Pore-Pore Tea while aspringing her dream to be an actress. However, since the death of her acting teacher at the hands of Grongi, Nana has been troubled until Yuusuke finally helps her overcome her sadness.
* Jean Michel Sorrel (ジャン・ミッシェル・ソレル, Jan Missheru Soreru?): A university student from America that shares the work office with Sakurako. He researched the broken fragments that later formed into Gouram. He has a crush on Enokida and hoped to help her reconnect with her child.
* Sadao Matsukura (松倉 貞雄, Matsukura Sadao?): The head of the security department of the Metropolitan Police Department with the head of the unidentified life forms joint investigation headquarters.
* Morimichi Sugita (杉田 守道, Sugita Morimichi?): A detective of the investigation dept 1 of the Metropolitan Police Department.
* Tsuyoshi Sakurai (桜井 剛, Sakurai Tsuyoshi?): A detective of the investigation dept 1 of the Metropolitan Police Department.
* Nozomi Sasayama (笹山 望見, Sasayama Nozomi?): A policewoman of the unidentified life forms joint investigation headquarters who sends communication from headquarters.
* Mika Natsume (夏目 実加, Natsume Mika?, 2, 7-8, 13-14, 29, 42-43, 49): The daughter of Prof. Natsume, one of Daguba's victims, she was greatly depressed when her father's murder was being overlooked for the Grongi attacks, taking the findings her father had at their house. But after Yuusuke reasons with her, Mika decides to aid in the Grongi matter as Jean's assistant. However, she is unable to follow and decides to take up playing the flute her father gave her. But while attending the 12th Arikawa Group Flute Competition, a hostage situation by a disgrunted government working trumatizes Mika as Yuusuke tells her to not to run from her fear and continue. Three months later, Mika is attending a special college.
* Shoji Kanzaki (神崎 昭二, Kanzaki Shōji?, 25-26, 47, 49): Yuusuke's elementary school teacher, he served as an inspiration to Yuusuke, and the two of them visit on certain occasions.
* Junichi Chono (蝶野 潤一, Chōno Jun'ichi?, 13-14, 29-30): A young troubled man, he saw the Grongi as a salvation until he was saved by Kuuga. He later researched trying to make a living until he was knocked out by Gamego while on his way to a job interview.

13 Riders
The notion of 13 Riders is apparently a homage to the original Kamen Rider manga published in 1971, which contains a chapter called The 13 Kamen Riders. However, only 10 Kamen Riders were featured in the TV series. Femme, Ryuga and Verde appeared exclusively in the movie Episode: Final and/or the TV special 13 Riders.

Despite the idea of 13 Kamen Riders facing each other, all 13 Kamen Riders never really faced each other in one huge battle. The most number of Kamen Riders in one battle is 6 (in the TV series, where Knight, Ryuki, Zolda, Ohja, Tiger, and Alternative fought each other, only to be interrupted by Imperer's advent monsters), and 11 (at the 13 Kamen Riders Special). Kamen Rider Raia was killed earlier by Kamen Rider Verde's Death Vanish Final Vent. Despite activating the Guard Vent, Kamen Rider Scissors was killed by Kamen Rider Ohja's Veno Crash Final Vent. The remaining 10 Kamen Riders fought on the final match of the special, with Kamen Rider Ryuki and Kamen Rider Knight facing off against the remaining 8, led by Kamen Rider Odin.

* Kamen Rider Knight

* Kamen Rider Zolda
* Kamen Rider Raia
* Kamen Rider Gai
* Kamen Rider Ohja
* Kamen Rider Tiger
* Kamen Rider Imperer

The show also featured two Kamen Rider clones, called Alternatives:

* Alternative Zero
* Alternative

When the series concept was revisited in Kamen Rider Decade, a new Rider was introduced.

* Kamen Rider Abyss

Movies and specials
* Kamen Rider Ryuki The Movie: Episode Final (劇場版 仮面ライダー龍騎 EPISODE FINAL, Gekijōban Kamen Raidā Ryūki Episōdo Fainaru?)

This movie is an alternate ending to the series, taking place after the events of episode 46. With only six Riders remaining in the Rider War: five of the six, Ryuki (Shinji Kido), Knight (Ren Akiyama), Zolda (Shuichi Kitaoka), Ohja (Takeshi Asakura), and Femme (Miho Kirishima), Shirō Kanzaki alerts them to quickly settle the Rider War within three days. One of them must win and become the last survivor before the sixth surviving rider reveals himself. Amidst the impending chaos of the fight between the Riders, Shinji discovers an unbelievable truth about the relationship between Yui Kanzaki and the Mirror World, as well as discovering the existence of his Mirror World doppelganger, Kamen Rider Ryuga.

* Kamen Rider Ryuki Special: 13 Riders (仮面ライダー龍騎スペシャル 13RIDERS, Kamen Raidā Ryūki Supessharu Sātin Raidāsu?)

This television special is an alternate telling of the Kamen Rider Ryuki story. Shinji Kidou's life, working as an employee at ORE Journal, takes a sharp turn after being pulled into the Mirror World by a Mispider. Luckily, he was saved by a Kamen Rider, Ryuki (Kōichi Sakakibara). However, Sakakibara could no longer go on due to the harshness of his injuries and passed his Card Deck to Shinji, allowing him to become the next Ryuki to survive and defeat the monster. After meeting with Yui Kanzaki and Ren Akiyama (Kamen Rider Knight), Shinji learns about the conditions of the Rider War, as well as of the other Riders participating. Unable to allow such a game of death to exist like his Rider predecessor, Shinji sets out to convince all the Riders to end the senseless fighting and put an end to the War. His pleas fall upon deaf ears as just about every other Rider (except for the already-defeated Riders Raia and Scissors) sets out to hunt down Shinji and his eventual reluctant ally, Ren. Eventually, Shinji's deck is destroyed and Ren is critically injured, passing on the deck for Kamen Rider Knight to Shinji. The special has two different endings which were voted on by the viewers via phone at the time of the initial airing: the voted-for-air ending (in which Shinji faces the surviving Riders on his own) and the alternate ending (a resetting of the Rider War).
[edit] S.I.C. Hero Saga

Ryuki had two separate S.I.C. Hero Saga side stories published in Monthly Hobby Japan magazine. The second S.I.C. Hero Saga story Kamen Rider Ryuki: World of If (仮面ライダー龍騎 -IFの世界-, Kamen Raidā Ryūki: IF no Sekai?) is an alternate telling that features Ohja Survive from Advent Calendar and also introduces Kamen Rider Ryuga Survive (仮面ライダーリュウガサバイブ, Kamen Raidā Ryūga Sabaibu?). Advent Calendar ran from August to December 2004 and World of If ran from June to August 2005.

Paradise Lost
Kamen Rider 555 The Movie: Paradise Lost (劇場版 仮面ライダー555 パラダイス・ロスト, Gekijōban Kamen Raidā Faizu: Paradaisu Rosuto?), was released during the run of the series, as a double feature alongside Bakuryu Sentai Abaranger: Abare Summer is Freezing! on August 16, 2003. The film was 81 minutes long. A few new characters and Rider Gears were introduced in the movie. The character of Leo/Kamen Rider Psyga, played by Peter Ho, became the first non-Japanese Kamen Rider, although the Saban adaptation of Kamen Rider Black RX, Masked Rider, featured American actor TJ Roberts as the main character.

Paradise Lost takes place in an alternate universe which answers the question "What would happen if Orphnochs ruled the world?" In the near future, the world is ruled by the Smart Brain Corporation, with 90% of the population being Orphnoch, and the once prominent human race is nearing extinction. Takumi Inui, Kamen Rider Faiz, was once regarded as mankind’s savior until, in an attack by Smart Brain troops, he was presumed dead. Since then, human rebel groups have staged attacks on Smart Brain's complex in an attempt to steal the top-secret Emperor Belts, with no success. Kiba Yuji, Naoya Kaidō and Yuka Osada attempt to ease tensions between both races but their peace meeting is interrupted by Smart Brain troops and their newest warrior, Kamen Rider Psyga. Takumi, believing himself a young cobbler named Takeshi, regains his memory and becomes Kamen Rider Faiz again to settle things with Smart Brain once and for all.

The story ran from October 2005 to January 2006.

Missing Ace

Kamen Rider Blade The Movie: Missing Ace (劇場版 仮面ライダー剣 MISSING ACE, Gekijōban Kamen Raidā Bureido Misshingu Ēsu?) is the theatrical release, first in theaters on September 11, 2004.

Four years after an alternate ending to the series, in which Blade seals the Joker, the characters have moved on with their lives: Kenzaki is a garbage man, Mutsuki has graduated high school, and Kotarō has published a book about the Kamen Riders to great success. The Undead have been re-released, and a new trio of Kamen Riders—Glaive, Larc and Lance—have emerged from BOARD, now led by Tachibana. After recapturing two of the Category Aces, Kenzaki and Mutsuki join with the new Riders. When all the Undead are sealed once more, Glaive reveals himself to be the Albino Joker, a white version of the original Joker, and captures Kotarō's niece to obtain the ultimate power, sealing her in the Vanity Card. In order to free Amane from the card, Hajime is unsealed from the Joker Card and the four Riders are again united, intent on saving Amane and stopping the Albino Joker.
[edit] Specials

Kamen Rider Blade: Blade vs. Blade is a Hyper Battle Video, wherein a Trial-series cyborg pretends to be Kenzaki, who quickly discovers the fraud and fights him. During their battle, the other Riders bicker humorously about which Blade is the fake, which constantly results in their attacking the real Kenzaki. As with all Hyper Battle Videos, this serves as a device to exposit the Rider's various powers and abilities.

Kamen Rider Blade: New Generation is a television special made of a collection of vignettes which aired following certain episodes of Blade, following the history of Kamen Riders Glaive, L'arc, and Lance. This is a direct tie-in to the movie Missing Ace.
[edit] S.I.C. Hero Saga

The S.I.C. Hero Saga side story for Blade is titled Kamen Rider Blade: Day After Tomorrow (仮面ライダー剣 -DAY AFTER TOMORROW-, Kamen Raidā Bureido: DAY AFTER TOMORROW?) follows the story of the series after the finale and features characters from Missing Ace. The new character introduced in the story is Joker (Kazuma Kenzaki ver.) (ジョーカー(剣崎一真ver.), Jōkā (Kenzaki Kazuma ver.)?). Two other special editions of the Hero Saga stories also feature Blade characters: Hero Saga Special Edition: King featuring Kamen Rider Garren King Form (仮面ライダーギャレン・キングフォーム, Kamen Raidā Gyaren Kingu Fōmu?) and Hero Saga Special Edition: Clover featuring Kamen Rider Leangle Jack Form (仮面ライダーレンゲル・ジャックフォーム, Kamen Raidā Rengeru Jakku Fōmu?). Day After Tomorrow ran in the February through May 2007 issues of Monthly Hobby Japan magazine. King was featured in the May 2008 issue and Clover was featured in the June 2008 issue.

Synopsis
Main article: List of Kamen Rider Den-O characters
Ryotaro Nogami is a young man with a lot of bad luck. One day, he finds a strange pass and things got stranger from a mysterious girl and a large time-traveling train to being possessed by an entity called an Imagin, beings from an alternate future whose kind are attempting to change the past. Though slightly confused about the nature of the crisis, Ryotaro, along with the aid of the hot-headed, violent Imagin, dubbed Momotaros, becomes Kamen Rider Den-O, traveling to different times on the DenLiner to battle the evil Imagin to prevent them from altering the past to affect the present and future. During his adventure, Ryotaro is joined by other Imagin who aid him as well; the lying, manipulating and womanizing Urataros, the herculean (and narcoleptic) Kintaros, and the childish yet powerful Ryutaros. He later meets the mysterious Yuto Sakurai and his bumbling Imagin partner Deneb. Yuto is not only Kamen Rider Zeronos but is the younger incarnation of Ryotaro's older sister Airi's fiance, Sakurai, who mysteriously disappeared and is tied to the mysteries involving the Imagin and a person known as the Junction Point.

List of Kamen Rider Decade episodes
Generally, episodes of Decade are titled similarly to the episodes of the series that they reference. Kamen Rider Kuuga's episodes were titled with only two kanji and episodes of Kamen Rider Kiva have a musical reference and musical notation in the title. An episode arc also features a crossover with Samurai Sentai Shinkenger.[3][4]

In an interview in the March 2009 issue of Kindai Magazine, Masahiro Inoue stated that Decade was slated as having only 30 episodes.[5] A subsequent interview in Otonafami magazine confirms that only 30 episodes were filmed,[6] with 31 episodes airing total.

Kamen Rider Kiva (仮面ライダーキバ, Kamen Raidā Kiba?, Masked Rider Kiva) is the title of the 2008 Kamen Rider Japanese tokusatsu television series produced by Toei Company and Ishimori Productions. It premiered on January 27, 2008, following the finale of Kamen Rider Den-O. It aired as a part of TV Asahi's 2008 Super Hero Time block with Engine Sentai Go-onger. Advertisements showed a horror film theme to the series, with the motif for Kamen Rider Kiva as a vampire. The advertising slogan for the series is "Wake up! Break the chains of destiny!!" (覚醒(ウェイクアップ)! 運命(さだめ)の鎖を解き放て!!, Weiku appu! Sadame no kusari o tokihanate!!?). The first episode began with a commemoration of the series in honor of the seventieth anniversary of Shotaro Ishinomori's birthday.

Synopsis
Twenty-two years after the disappearance of his father, Wataru Kurenai lives in an infamous "haunted house" where he is destined as Kamen Rider Kiva to fight life-draining monsters called Fangires, the very race his father fought years ago before his disappearance. Wataru must also deal with Kamen Rider Ixa who is part of an organization seeking to destroy the Fangire menace, as well as the Fangires' own Rider, Kamen Rider Saga. The story is split between the actions of Wataru in the present (2008) and his father Otoya in the past (1986), slowly revealing the link between the Fangire Race and Kiva.

Characters
The characters of Kamen Rider Kiva are spread throughout two time periods, each related to one another. There are the actions of Otoya Kurenai and the Fangire Hunter Yuri Aso with the Wolfen Jiro in the year 1986 with the first Ixa Ver.I that result in the various Fangires that persist to the current day, in 2008, with Otoya's son Wataru (as Kamen Rider Kiva) along and Keisuke Nago (as Kamen Rider Ixa Ver.X) and Yuri's daughter Megumi (also a Fangire Hunter), dealing with the Fangires to prevent deaths.

Fangire
The Fangires (ファンガイア, Fangaia?) are stained glass-based vampires who feed off of the Life Energy (ライフエナジー, Raifu Enajī?) of humans to survive, with which they can disguise themselves as humans. Because of this, aware humans have formed a group to hunt the Fangires. Though Kiva usually captures a Fangire's soul to feed to Castle Doran, Fangires can be completely destroyed when shattered as seen by Ixa and stronger Fangires.

Each episode's title is a word or phrase relating to music and a phrase describing the episode separated by a symbol from musical notation. For example, the second episode's title is written in Japanese as "組曲♪親子のバイオリン", using the eighth note. An exception is the finale, which uses the music end barline at the end of the title. From episode 2 onward, Kivat begins each episode by stating a piece of trivia about music, art, chess, and other subjects. A movie titled Movie Edition: Kamen Rider Den-O & Kiva: Climax Deka (劇場版 仮面ライダー電王&キバ クライマックス刑事(デカ), Gekijōban Kamen Raidā Den'ō ando Kiba Kuraimakkusu Deka?) opened in theaters on April 12, 2008. It features a meeting between the characters of Kiva and the characters of Kamen Rider Den-O. They team up to fight a new evil Imagin who has teamed up with the Fangire Clan. Alongside Climax Deka, a short film titled Momotaros's Let's Go Kiva! (モモタロスのキバっていくぜ!, Momotarosu no Kiba tte Ikuze!?) will be shown as double feature.[1][2][3][4]
[edit] King of the Castle in the Demon World
Main article: Kamen Rider Kiva: King of the Castle in the Demon World

Movie Edition: Kamen Rider Kiva: King of the Castle in the Demon World (劇場版 仮面ライダーキバ 魔界城の王, Gekijōban Kamen Raidā Kiba Makaijō no Ō?) opened in Japanese theaters on August 9, 2008. It featured two new Riders who have been shown in silhouettes in Japanese children's magazines, Kamen Rider Rey (仮面ライダーレイ, Kamen Raidā Rei?)[5], who is a monster hunter named Takato Shiramine (白峰 天斗, Shiramine Takato?) played by Shouma Yamamoto (山本 匠馬, Yamamoto Shōma?), partnered to Rey Kivat (レイキバット, Reikibatto?, voiced by Norio Wakamoto) and the villain of the movie Takashi Sugimura (杉村 隆, Sugimura Takashi?), a death-row inmate who transforms into Kamen Rider Arc (仮面ライダーアーク, Kamen Raidā Āku?) with Arc Kivat (アークキバット, Āku Kibatto?, voiced by Norio Wakamoto), portrayed by Ken Horiuchi of the comedy troupe Neptune. The movie takes place in an alternate universe, as trying to place the story of the movie anywhere within the story of the series always leaves events out of place and would cancel out other events. Furthermore, Shouma Yamamoto plays Takato Shiramine in the Kamen Rider Kiva movie, but he also plays Taiga Nobori in the actual series.
[edit] Den-Liner, Into Space!

Kamen Rider Kiva & Den-O: Den-Liner, Into Space! (仮面ライダーキバ&電王 デンライナー、宇宙へ!, Kamen Raidā Kiba ando Den'ō Denrainā, Uchū e!?) is a planetarium show using the cast of Kiva and Den-O to teach children about the universe. It was being shown at the Kagoshima Municipal Science Hall's planetarium between January 2 and March 30, 2009.[6]
[edit] King of Vampire

For Kiva's S.I.C. Hero Saga side story Kamen Rider Kiva: King of Vampire (仮面ライダーキバ -KING OF VAMPIRE-, Kamen Raidā Kiba -Kingu ovu Vanpaia-?), the story follows the life of the characters following the finale while expanding on other instances in the history of the 1986 storyline. The story is set to begin running in the January 2010 issue of Monthly Hobby Japan magazine. Like the series' episode titles, the titles of the four chapters of the S.I.C. Hero Saga follow a similar format, but features two musically themed titles separated by an item from musical notation (the former is an opera while the latter is a song from said opera). The first chapter uses the Segno.

Chapter titles
1. A Midsummer Night's Dream: Wedding March (夏の夜の夢・結婚行進曲, Natsu no Yoru no Yume: Kekkon Kōshinkyoku?)
2. Lohengrin: Bridal Chorus (ローエングリン・結婚行進曲2, Rōengurin: Kekkon Kōshinkyoku 2?)
3. Saint-Saëns: Marche Héroïque (サン・サーンス・英雄行進曲, San Sānsu: Eiyū Kōshinkyoku?)

Kamen Rider Kabuto (仮面ライダーカブト, Kamen Raidā Kabuto?, Kamen Rider Kabuto) is a Japanese tokusatsu superhero television series. It is the sixteenth installment in the popular Kamen Rider Series of tokusatsu programs. It is a joint collaboration between Ishimori Productions and Toei. The series was broadcast on tv asahi. The first episode aired on January 29, 2006, and with the final episode airing on January 21, 2007, completing the series with 49 episodes. The series represents the 35th anniversary of the Maksed Rider Series, as indicated by a notice at the beginning of the pilot episode reading, in Japanese, "Kamen Rider 35th Anniversary Production." Kamen Rider Kabuto is the first Kamen Rider Series to be broadcast in high-definition format.

The series' catchphrases are "Walking the path of heaven, to rule everything!" (天の道を往き、総てを司る!, Ten no michi o Iki, Subete o tsukasadoru!?) and "I am justice." (俺が正義, Ore ga seigi?).

Synopsis
The story revolves around a man named Souji Tendou. He has trained seven years while waiting for the Kabuto Zecter so that he may properly take up the name of Kamen Rider Kabuto. Making many enemies while at the same time meeting other Riders with mysterious origins of how they got there, Tendou attempts to accomplish his goal at all costs: destroying all Worms that otherwise threaten humanity. He meets Arata Kagami, who later becomes Kamen Rider Gatack, the two work together to save humanity from the alien Worms that arrived from a meteorite seven years ago.

Masked Rider System
Zecters (ゼクター, Zekutā?), also known as the Masked Rider System (マスクドライダーシステム, Masukudo Raidā Shisutemu?), are a compilation of mobile systems that affect space/time. They were created by the Natives, a species of Worm that arrived on Earth 35 years ago. These Natives in turn gave the Zecters to humans so that they may protect them from alien Worms that would arrive later. The Zecters appear instantaneously from the ZECT headquarters to the selected personnel so that they may transform into the respective Rider to fight any Worms in the vicinity. Each Rider (except for the Hopper Riders and the Movie-exclusive Riders) possessed two forms such as the bulky armored cocoon-like Masked Form (マスクドフォーム, Masukudo Fōmu?) and the sleeker Rider Form (ライダーフォーム, Raidā Fōmu?) which can use the Clock Up (クロックアップ, Kurokku Appu?) system that slows down time. They also have the ZECTroopers to help them.

There are eight known Zecters within the Kamen Rider System, each allowing the user to become a different Rider.

* Kamen Rider Kabuto
* Kamen Rider TheBee
* Kamen Rider Drake
* Kamen Rider Sasword
* Kamen Rider Gatack
* Kamen Rider KickHopper
* Kamen Rider PunchHopper
* Kamen Rider Dark Kabuto

There also exist two other Zecters known as the Perfect Zecter and the Hyper Zecter. The Perfect Zecter serves as a primary weapon while the Hyper Zecter is a power-up device that enhances the powers of the original Zecter. Both were only used by Kabuto in the series, but Gattack got to use the Hyper Zecter in the Hyper Battle DVD.

With its very dramatic storyline and its twist of the Kamen Rider having a tragic relationship with his arch-nemesis, the installment not only became very popular in Japan, but also in the several other countries where it was aired. The series is often regarded as a classic and is considered by many as the best Kamen Rider show of the late 80s. Kamen Rider Black RX was a direct sequel to this series. A manga novelization of the series is entitled Kamen Rider Black (仮面ライダーBlack, Kamen Raidā Burakku?)
